Tachles – Let’s do Limmud together

Date: First Thursday of every month
Venue: Limmud office, Károly körút 25

Tachles is a word of Yiddish origin that comes from the Hebrew tachlit (aim). In today’s Hebrew slang it means something like “practical,” “efficient,” “tangible” or “enough of the talking, let’s do something already.”

Starting in August, this regular activity will feature the open discussion of an important question related to Limmud on a monthly basis in order for us to be able to find out how Limmud could better reflect who we are and what kind of events we want to organize for ourselves.

We chose this name for the activity because at the end of each discussion, we want to have a substantial and practical notion of how we, as Limmud, want to approach each of these issues.

Join us and tell us your opinion. Let's do Limmud together.

Limmud Lodge

We would like to extend our offering of Limmud activities to cultural and team building events, such as theater visits, city trips, exhibitions, concerts or any other event that you propose. Hang out with the Limmud team outside of meetings, let’s go and learn together.

If you want to propose an event, please write a message to Szilvi at info[AT]limmud.hu.
