Limmud BudaFest 2012
On a Sunday in the middle of Summer we had our first Limmud BudaFest event. What was there? Sunshine, studying, concerts, kosher beer, dancing, fresh air, shuk, books, traveling—that’s all you need for a great party.
There were more than 170 participants to enjoy the programmes, a variety of activities, including panel discussions on Israeli and Hungarian political questions, Israeli sci-fi, Iran, the "pinkwashing"-debate and Jewish demographics, but we had traditional text study and amator short-filmmaking workshops too. Parallel to the English and Hungarian sessions, you had the chance to participate in Hora, Pilates and Judaica crafts or music workshops.
First time this year we had an Israeli-style shuk where you can purchase kosher snacks, Jewish books or Judaica. If you would like to have more information about the participants, click here.
